So what the metal is one ga thinner, you know cars todays have quarters made out of 22ga hell Nission has 24ga!! My 68 has a Goodmark ss hood, drv fender, NPD (U.S.A.) made trunk flr., AMD pas fender, doors, full quarters, it all seem to fit with some tweaking but the body guy said it was all ok, I've heard unless you can find real GM that theirs 2 factories in Taiwan that make the parts ( sheet metal ) also a guy that I worked with that was from LAOS (LOAS?) said the T-gov had plants .

I just ordered all of my sheet metal from Summit. Best price I found, but the 0 +free shipping doesn't apply for the larger pieces. I also was ordering Goodmark sheet metal, but was tagged CHS or something like that. Never the less it fit well. Only a small amount of persuading was required. This allows the pressings to be more crisp. The guy who started AMD is also the same guy that originally started Goodmark so many of the parts come from the same suppliers. They are DOT approved so there is that. Remember, when you cut off the old sheet metal it seems thicker than it really is due to paint and other coatings. Goodmark, AMD, Dynacorn, Golden Legion, whatever aftermarket sheet metal are all coming from Taiwan anyway.
